Description based on material supplied by the layout owner
Bruckless Co Donegal This layout was first envisaged as a diorama. The location is fictitious and based on the theory that the East Gloucestershire Railway was completed to Cheltenham as was first planned. However traffic was never to the volume that was expected. The line was eventually terminated at Honeycomb Leaze which is a hamlet between Quenington and Maisey Hampton. Besides providing a passenger service it also provided a goods service for the local farming community. It was also the rail head for a local factory which produced a wide range of both water pumps and windmills. | ![]() ![]() |
